Stumbling Into Grace

Stumbling Into Grace by Lisa Harper is a different kind of book. Lisa Harper has crafted an entertaining and enlightening Christian read. The book itself reads like a story, but has the Biblical connection of a devotional. "Stumbling Into Grace" was a very enjoyable read, at times funny, and at times a little bit sad, but through that whole range of emotions, the grace of God shines through. I thought that Harper did a great job of writing a Christian book that was so highly entertaining, and intertwining so much of a biblical connection to her own life. This really provokes thought for me, and really makes me ponder God's interactions in my own life. The book flows well from chapter to chapter, and at the end of each chapter there is a prayer, personal reflection questions, and a journal entry prompt. This would be a great book for a small group, book club or mom's club to read together. I also think that this would make a great gift for a mom, sister, wife, or grandmother. It's a great story and devotional, and I would recommend it!
