Fresh-Brewed Life

I recently received "Fresh-Brewed Life" by Nicole Johnson. I thought that the book itself conveyed strong, personal messages for daily life. The book is broken up into ten chapters meant to help reinvigorate your spiritual life, and stir your soul. The chapters are a little lengthy, and since I have a three year old, it was hard to find time to sit down and read an entire chapter, but the topics that Nicole Johnson touches on are so relevant to the daily life of a Christian. Some of the chapters discuss friendships, anger, relationships, and beauty, which are all relevant and inspiring. Each chapter has a journal "assignment" to go with the topic discussed in the chapter, which really helps to guide your thoughts and focus on the message of the chapter and making it relevant in your own life. I thought this book was a great resource for refocusing my spiritual energy, and it really is a cup of coffee for your soul. Would recommend this book to any Christian woman, or woman who is feeling spiritually worn out.
